Enjoyed the voice of the narrator- pleasant, kind, and funny at times. The information covered is almost too good to be true, but I feel in my heart that this is the answer I have been seeking for many years now. At first, I was skeptical because of my fear-based, religious indoctrination, but I could sense in my spirit that this is a gift from our loving Heavenly Father. My thanks to Dr. Loyd for listening to God and bringing this gift to the world.

A Beacon of Hope

A most engaging memoir in every sense of the word. A must read for anyone who has felt marginalized and/or unseen or unheard. I laughed, cried and felt overwhelming pride. I also found hope springing up in me - hope that all things are possible when we meet life’s challenges with determination and commitment to our dreams.

My introduction to Beverly Jenkins. Looking forward to listening to some of her other works. Narration done beautifully which made it easy to know who was speaking. Story was heartwarming, inspiring and sometimes heartbreaking, but always interesting. Loved the humor too. Beverly just got herself a new fan.

Enjoyed the story line and the realistic human responses. Loved that it was easy to follow and had just the right amount of characters- too many and I lose interest. Wonderfully creative.
