Story
In the 1990s, Democrats supported balanced budgets, smaller government, border security, equal opportunity (not outcomes), reducing the deficit, and prioritizing blue-collar issues. However, according to Joe Concha, these are things that Democrats are against now. Today, Democrats want people to believe that they know what is morally right and that they have always supported their current views. However, Concha argues that nothing sums up the Democrats better than John Kerry's famous quote, "I actually did vote for the $87 billion, before I voted against it."

Looking forward to more from this Author. I never write reviews, but this book is definitely worth the time! Very informative and love the humor!Unbelievable how things have changed in our country! I am a baby boomer and used to be a Democrat! I just can't believe the change and absolute horrible things and attitudes in our beloved country. It's embarrassing to me. our great WWII veterans, my dad included, must be rolling over in their graves. Well done Joe Concha!. The whole country needs to read this book!

Story
A Lie Too Big to Fail asserts the idea that a government can never investigate itself in a crime of this magnitude. Was the convicted Sirhan Sirhan a willing participant? Or was he a mind-controlled assassin? It has fallen to independent researchers like Pease to lay out the evidence in a clear and concise manner, allowing listeners to form their theories about this event. Pease places the history of this event in the context of the era and provides shocking overlaps between other high-profile murders and attempted murders of the time.

Great information but, it's too wordy. Way too much description and repeative. The same issues could have been described with less wording. I ended up getting bored and lost interest multiple times.

Lame
Reviewed: 01-29-22
The 1st book in this series was great, was looking forward to the others, however, as each book went by, they got worse. Hard to stay focused. By the last 1 I had to force myself to keep listening. Stories got more lame each time. The main characters became almost worthless. Book 4, Stella became a whiny, bossy nag and CJ became her puppet and pansy! Not at all like the toughness in the 1st book.
Was going to read Parker Dupont's series next but not sure I want to spend the money.

Disappointed
Reviewed: 09-14-21
The book was mostly about the pirates! Hardly any of it had the main character , Mack. Very disappointed, enjoyed books 1 &2 were good. All about Mack. This one literally maybe 2-3 hours worth of Mack. Narration was terrible. Would not recommend. I have started book 4. kind of has started the same way. Will see. If like book 3 I will not finish it.
