Did not disappoint!

When we were introduced to Chunk we fell for him and his character only strengthened to us. To finally hear his side, his guys side, was amazing. These authors are very good story telling, won't tell you about the plot cause that would give away the story line. In some ways you like Chunk and his men better then Dempsey, lol. The man that performs the audible is the most amazing person ever. I'd just about listen to any books he performs on, the writing is great but his voice brings the story to life. Thank you distracting me from life for a while. Thank you to the men and women who chose to fight for us and to keep the wolf at bay!

This starts off slow and I mean slow, started to stop reading/listening to it but kept going. The person narrating it well he just didn't make the story come alive like most I listen to so that was disappointing. The story in a whole is one good story but the writer bogs you down with too many details, like distractions or something. I don't know. I liked it and will listen again. If you read/listen prepare yourself for a little different side of the apocalypse.

I wasn't overly impressed with these books. While the author wrote a good story, the main character was portrayed as kinda stupid to the reader. The story was told and was kinda predictable. I'm not sure if it was the story or the narration that made this seem off. But this guy can tell a good story.
