Start this series from the beginning! It is wonderful! The writing is great. You really get to know all of the characters. The narrator is amazing Travis and all the characters come to life. I am sad it is over. I will miss Travis.
This has been one of my favorite series ever.

RITA Award finalist and Christy Award winner Julie Klassen delivers historical romances brimming with the eloquence and intensity of Jane Austen. In an abandoned gatehouse on an old estate, Mariah Aubrey lives in seclusion. She supports herself by writing novels in secret—at a time when such writing is considered improper and unladylike. Soon the wealthy and ambitious Captain Bryant leases the estate and is intrigued by the beautiful girl in the gatehouse.

Egypt, 1926. Fiercely independent American Jane Wunderly has made up her mind: she won't be swept off her feet on a trip abroad. Despite her Aunt Millie's best efforts at meddling with her love life, the young widow would rather gaze at the Great Pyramids of Giza than into the eyes of a dashing stranger. Yet Jane's plans to remain cool and indifferent become ancient history in the company of Mr. Redvers, a roguish banker she can't quite figure out.

Sometimes you just want sweet and caring. This is it!
I am a diverse reader and have been reading a string of assassin and thriller books. So this was a great departure.
If you are looking for reality this may not be the book for you. But if you are like me and sometimes need a little “hallmark” in your life. Give it a try!
I also loved Flat Out Love.

Definitely, worth a credit!
I would love to see/hear from Mrs. Rodd, Frederick, and Blackbeard again.
