I was hoping to hear more stories about exploration and the cadets on board, but the tale is mired in logistics and educational practices.

Ugh, who wants to listen to a narrator that reads every sentence like a declarative statement? Intonation aside, there was seemingly little audio quality review. Spend your money elsewhere

A lively tale with a keen look at a feudal lifestyle and challenges of life in a lifestyle reminiscent of the Middle Ages. Sadly the woman in the story are primarily portrayed as sex objects to be enjoyed by men. The main character's girlfriend is perfect except for her "large feet." And let's not forget how a large part of the plot hinged on "sex magic"... was this really needed?

Would you ever listen to anything by J. K. Rowling again?

I suspect that she had free reign to do whatever she wanted — after all, can an editor say "no" to the woman who enchanted the world with Harry Potter? The book was very luxurious with all of its tiny details — descriptions of what the characters wearing, doing, thinking. It could have easily been half or one-third the length, and the entire story STILL communicated. That said, the details are enjoyable and do flesh out the characters. Be prepared for a slow start.

What does Tom Hollander bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

If you want to listen a British man trying to portray Jay-Z rapping... well, here's your chance. His accent lends credence to what is, after all, a proper English story.
