Story
Leaping into the bustling world of New York City, I traded my quiet Indianapolis life for the promise of corporate success. The job, the apartment, the relentless pace, it was a thrilling new chapter. But my life took an unexpected turn when I met Ethan Parker. A vivacious, charismatic fashion designer, Ethan answered my ad for a roommate and walked into my apartment and my life. Our worlds were different, yet our conversations, over shared meals and bottles of wine, began to blur those lines.

Riddled with plot errors, repetitive plot elements, chronological errors, etc. It sounds like it was written by ChatGPT

Story
Charles Preston Carmichael is the most infuriating man I've ever met. I want to sock the golden boy of college hockey right in the mouth. He enjoys telling me everything I'm messing up—publicly. And since he's my roommate for the next year, I can't avoid him. Yet there's something about him that makes me watch him. Something dark. A secret I want to uncover. When he returns from a weekend away, broken and haunted, I can't keep my distance anymore. He needs someone, and I'll be damned if it's not me.

Should carry a trigger warning!

The abuse scenes are so beyond effed up that I couldn’t get through the first hour of the book. I couldn’t sleep after that and I’m not even someone who gets triggered easily. The author must be downright deranged to concoct such an outlandish and nightmare inducing plot element. Who comes up with this $#it?! I can’t believe I used my monthly credit on this.
