What would have made The Power of Your Subconscious Mind better?

This is a book about a religious belief that uses scripture to substantiate the author's belief. It takes a while of listening until you realize that this is another twisting of the bible. The author makes it clear that he does not believe in God but that we are god. He mixes up words so that it is hard to figure out what he is trying to say until your really into the book.

What was most disappointing about Joseph Murphy’s story?

If I had understood that this was a twisted religious book, I could have passed on this selection.

Have you listened to any of Jason Culp’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have no complaints for the performance. He did a fine job of reading the book.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Power of Your Subconscious Mind?

I would have made it clear in the very beginning that this book is not how it represents itself. It is not another version of the Power of Positive Thinking. This book looks at the Bible and twists it around to fit the beliefs of the author. This book is so odd. If the author did not believe in God, he should have just used another book to prove his points.

Interesting Observations

Overall
4 out of 5 stars

Smith shares interesting observations. Since this is a recording from a conference, it does not allow for an en-depth exploration of the subjects ... instead, these are casual observations to help remind the audience that better daily choices & actions lead to long-term financially rewarding impacts.

Excellent book and easy to listen to.
I like Andy Andrews' voice and his reading of the book was perfect. I listen to the book often while on my long commute to work each morning. Points are clear and well illustrated with stories. Extremely motivating!
