Story
Ever wondered what happened to your first love? Imagine bumping into them 12 years later and realizing you still fancy them rotten. That's exactly what happens to Dig Ryan when he sees Delilah again. Now imagine you're Nadine. You and Dig have been best friends for 15 years. And you've finally realized that you're in love with him. So when Delilah - who was always your nemesis - returns, you're mad with jealousy and can't help behaving childishly....

Favorite Lisa Jewell book
Reviewed: 03-27-21
I’ve been listening to as many of Lisa Newell’s books as I can. I always find them completely immersive, fascinating and I speed through them because I can’t seem to turn them off. I saw a negative review on this one and I just had to counteract it. This was definitely my favorite Lisa Jewell book. It was so perfect I’m sad i finished it and can no longer go back and visit these characters.

Story
It’s been twenty years since Cara’s boyfriend died in a horrible accident and her sister, Anna, went to prison. The tragedy has become a local legend, but Cara has moved past her grief to have a successful career and a happy family. Pity about Anna. Recently released from incarceration, she’s struggling with addiction, guilt, and shame - a shattered life. Cara’s forgiveness seems to be the only thing that helps her pick up the pieces. But as Anna pulls herself together, her memories of that night on the bridge start to come into focus. And few of them match her sister’s.

So bad but I could not stop listening

Some of the wording and the narration was cringe-worthy but at the same time I could not stop listening. I guess this is one of those things that is like a guilty pleasure or so bad it's good.
