Just Awesome

What a fantastic story. I also love it when the writer actually reads the book. There’s no chance you misread the intent of something. I am a musician right out of the era Kenny’s successful history began. I knew he was in the mix a lot but had no idea just how much. The book is an amazing journey of up’s and downs but most of all ethics and an unrelenting determination and will to earn every single thing. I can’t wait to listen again. There wasn’t a second I was board or lost my attention. One of my favorite book purchases ever.

Enjoyed the book

Book is filled with great information. It’s interesting and keeps your attention well. The only reason for four stars and not five is because when they did his live lectures the same stories we repeated pretty much word for word in front of different crowds. They aren’t short stories so it was a little redundant. I want to stress this book was and is helpful to me. Just at what a Zig book cost I’d rather choose what I’m listening again to.

Story
This intimate story of Lynyrd Skynyrd tells how a band of lost souls and self-destructive misfits, with uncertain artistic objectives, clawed their way to the top of the rock 'n' roll world. It also offers a greater appreciation for a band whose legacy, in the aftermath of their last plane ride, has since descended into self-caricature.

Well, the performance was great though the book was just a good okay book. Amazing that to a man, every one of the members of the band are so full of crap nobody will ever know the truth of anything substantial the band ever did.

Story
Now it can be told! The true, behind-the-scenes story of Casablanca Records, from an eyewitness to the excess and insanity. Casablanca was not a product of the 1970s, it was the 1970s. From 1974 to 1980, the landscape of American culture was a banquet of hedonism and self-indulgence, and no person or company in that era was more emblematic of the times than Casablanca Records and its magnetic founder, Neil Bogart.

Great Job Larry! As informative as this book is, what I cherish most is its ability to put you in a place in time that was very special to me. You could feel larry's emotion in every word. Best book I have enjoyed in years
