Story
Each year, Americans start one million new businesses, nearly 80 percent of which fail within the first five years. Under such pressure to stay alive—let alone grow—it’s easy for entrepreneurs to get caught up in a never-ending cycle of "sell it—do it, sell it—do it" that leaves them exhausted, frustrated, and unable to get ahead no matter how hard they try. Full of stories of other successful entrepreneurs, The Pumpkin Plan guides you through unconventional strategies to help you build a truly profitable blue-ribbon company that is the best in its field.

This was a great listen with an enthusiastic delivery. ive always found it best when authors read their own work for the bonus content they add in that didn't make the written copy. The Pumpkin Plan now fills in the gaps I had working my business after The E Myth by Michael Gerber. also really enjoyed his Mike's Profit First ( which we are also implementing) and The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur.
Thanks for another quality tool.

GREAT LISTEN.

I thought I would have struggled with this listen due to the readers thick German accent, I was wrong. It added to the richness of the experience with the correct tone and pronunciation of names of people and places. I have longed for a book that focussed less on the business of managing systems or assets but leading people in a way that I completely agree with. I definitely enjoyed this from the first word to the last.

I listened to " The hard things about the hard things" earlier this year and thoroughly enjoyed not only how Ben broke things down but also the delivery by the reader. when I saw this one I had to get it and was not disappointed.
Business becomes its own ecosystem over time and it is good to see the experiences of others not only in a business sense but also in real life difficult situations and how they overcame and prospered. Not that we would want to become a gangster or a Khan but how to build the business on strong cultural principles so the operation can thrive without its founder. As I said before, great read/listen.

I'm never one to be captivated by the political arena, however, the broad scope and depth of this emotional and detailed account of Mrs Obama kept me locked in the details since I hit "play." I appreciate the realness of her side of the story.
