Story
Craig Beck was a successful and functioning professional man in spite of a 'two bottles of wine a night' drinking habit. For 20 years, he struggled with problem drinking, all the time refusing to label himself an alcoholic because he did not think he met the stereotypical image that the word portrayed. All these 'willpower' based attempts to stop drinking failed.

More convincing than competitive books about this.

This book changed my life.
Reviewed: 01-07-20
I learned of this book after listening to the author's podcast. I've tried counseling, I've tried AA, I've tried the will power method, and would have a few days or weeks of success before inevitably falling off the wagon. This book spoke to me in a way that resonated in my mind for weeks afterward. Not only did the author dispel a lot of common myths about alcohol, but changed the way I looked at alcohol entirely. I cannot recommend this book strongly enough!
