I really enjoyed getting a more detailed insight into Mrs. Hudson's story. Having the two different narrators was also nice. A nice addition to the series.

I enjoyed the storyline and the insights into that time of history. But the narrator was so bland I almost quit the book several times. Will not buy a book read by this narrator again.

I really enjoyed this book. I would've given it five stars except for the voices of some of the nurses. But don't let that deter you. All the characters seem very real and down to earth.
I didn't want the book to end.

I'm not a runner, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author's narration is spot on. He's a joy to listen to.
The history provided and side bars were a great addition.
All this said, I still don't plan to take up running…. But it does make me think about what would get me moving again.

This book was a delight to read. A little long and convoluted; but entertaining and fun. Somewhat lightweight--which was actually a nice change of pace from murder and mayhem novels.
