Story
We live in a world obsessed with drinking. We drink at baby showers and work events, brunch and book club, graduations and funerals. Yet no one ever questions alcohol’s ubiquity—in fact, the only thing ever questioned is why someone doesn’t drink. It is a qualifier for belonging and if you don’t imbibe, you are considered an anomaly. As a society, we are obsessed with health and wellness, yet we uphold alcohol as some kind of magic elixir, though it is anything but.

Excessively woke

I am not a Trump fan. Quite the opposite. But the references to politics was really excessive to the point it was just unbearable. Can we leave politics, trans stuff, BLM, LGBTQ, fat activism, etc etc out of a book about being abstinent? Apparently not. Returning.

Story
In early 2019, after three years of careful planning, Rahaf Mohammed finally escaped her abusive family in Saudi Arabia—but made it only to Bangkok before being stripped of her passport. If forced to return home, she was sure she would be killed, like other rebel women in her country. As men pounded at the door of her barricaded hotel room, she opened a Twitter account. The teenager reached out to the world, and the world answered—she gained 45,000 followers in one day, and those followers helped her seek asylum in the West. Now Rahaf Mohammed tells her remarkable story in her own words.

Gripping and illuminating

Incredible story by an amazing young woman. It was incredibly illuminating; I had no idea about the depth of the control that Saudi women have to deal with.
Saudi Arabia is an incredibly backwards place, with the most pathetic man-children on earth. But this young woman overcame all of that, did everything she could think of, and fought every step of the way to change her fate.
Motivating and amazing story; well-written, gripping and fascinating.

Story
Very few careers can offer you the freedom, flexibility, and income that day trading does. As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work. You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. In the audiobook, I describe the fundamentals of day trading, explain how day trading is different from other styles of trading and investment, and elaborate on important trading strategies that many traders use every day.

Where’s the PDF?
Reviewed: 11-26-20
This is a great book overall. It’s perfect for beginners and I personally think that his website is helpful as well, despite it being a plug.
What bothers me and needs to be fixed is that the book mentions the PDF file many times, but it’s not available. I called audible support and they didn’t find it either. It would be really helpful to have because a lot of what he discusses you need to see for yourself- charts and setups etc- especially for a beginner.
Please fix this!

Story
Sleep is one of the most important but least understood aspects of our life, wellness, and longevity. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why we suffer such devastating health consequences when we don't sleep. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking, and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.

Orator- terrible
Reviewed: 11-29-18
Audible: I recently spoke with an author who said you didn’t allow her to narrate her own book, choosing someone else instead. PLEASE change this. The author is almost always the most interesting orator.
I love the idea of this book, but the oral presentation kinda sucks, no pun intended. The narrator is dull, monotonous, and lacks feeling, so much that it’s almost impossible for me to pay attention, and I love listening to books and podcasts. Would advise you to read the book instead.
