Story
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Such good reviews?? Why!
Reviewed: 11-01-22
I thought I was safe, with the good reviews this book has 🤷♀️but no…disappointed! The story doesn’t make much sense…why wouldn’t his mother have shared her storing her son or even his aunt? Whole thing was avoidable and this book was a waste of time and my good credit. It is still bugging me days later, why didn’t she tell those directly affected??? It would have made everything better, no explanation in the book, just dumb. I regret the 11 hours I wasted…just a bummer

Story
In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face—we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

He needs to stay in a leadership role in this beloved country of ours as we are in serious trouble keeping this country great. Sad but very very true. Please do read this book!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
