Story
In 1920, Annabeth De Lacy’s father is appointed landlord of Galway Parish in Ireland. Bored without the trappings and finery of the British Court, Annabeth convinces her father to arrange an apprenticeship for her with the Jennings family - descendants of the creator of the famed Claddagh ring. Stephen Jennings longs to do anything other than make a career in his family’s jewelry shop. The past has taught him to no longer believe in love and the “lies” the Claddagh ring supposedly promises. How can he peddle what he now finds offensive?

Engaging and emotionally hooking

I did not like the narrator. I didn't feel that the narrator was able to easily go back and forth between an English and an Irish accent.

When clues lead her to a mental asylum, Thea uses her experience as a postmortem photographer to gain access and assist groundskeeper Simeon Coyle in photographing the patients and uncovering the secrets within. Excellent and Clean

It took a bit to get into the story and it is one you need to pay attention to the name of the chapter because it jumps from the past to the present throughout the entire book. I wish there was more to the end of the story, but I really did love the interwoven stories. The Lord's name isn't even said once so it's really clean.

If Avery Chambers can’t fix you in 10 sessions, she won’t take you on as a client. Her successes are phenomenal—she helps people overcome everything from domineering parents to assault—and almost absorbs the emptiness she sometimes feels since her husband’s death. Marissa and Mathew Bishop seem like the golden couple—until Marissa cheats. She wants to repair things, both because she loves her husband and for the sake of their eight-year-old son. After a friend forwards an article about Avery, Marissa takes a chance on this maverick therapist.

Great story hate the Foul Language

I really enjoyed the story itself, but I hate having to hear swearing like the F word or B word. There were about seven times the F word is used and once with the B, but for me that's too much.

can't wait for book two

I really loved this story. It has replacement cursing for all, but a few words. It briefly mentions a homosexual relationship toward the end. The relationship doesn't actually demonstrate anything intimately. The story made me feel like I was part of it, even the main character. I was disappointed that the sequel book isn't available until September.
