the VA did a great job keeping my interest the whole time and pacing through the story. it was great seeing the differences between the original story and the movie. i hope in the future we can get a more book accurate film because the story has a few parts that had been left out that make the situation so much more bone chilling

The Manipulator. I can manipulate the emotions of anyone who lets me. I will make you hurt, make you cry, make you laugh and sigh. But my words don't affect him. Especially not when I plead for him to leave. He's always there, watching and waiting. And I can never look away. Not when I want him to come closer. The Shadow. I didn't mean to fall in love. But now that I have, I can't stay away. I'm mesmerized by her smile, by her eyes, and the way she moves. I'll keep watching and waiting. Until I can make her mine. And once she is, I'll never let her go.

I listen to books while I work and there for going through about 3 a week. this is easily the best book I have read in a very long time. I don't think its too graphic like many people said. when it gets graphic its there for a good reason and if it wasn't included then then the writer wouldn't have been able to get their point across. the characters are so well written that everything feels so real. there was times while listening to this where I realized my heart was racing and I was getting stressed out and had to go lay down for a minute to compose myself. that never happens! thats how good the writing it! not to mention that the reader did an absolutely fantastic job with giving a voice to every character. this book won't be leaving my head for a long time and I hope that one day I can listen to it again it it will be somewhere close to as great as the first time was.

But then an invitation to her ten-year reunion arrives in the mail, along with an anonymous note that reads, “We need to talk about what we did that night.” It seems Ambrosia’s past—and the people she thoughts she’d left there—aren’t as buried as she believed. Amb can’t stop fixating on what she did or who she did it with: larger-than-life Sloane “Sully” Sullivan, Amb’s former best friend, who could make anyone do anything.

I really enjoy when someone writes about people without making any of them inherently good. the story was well written and the reader did an excellent job. I listened to this book straight through without getting bored.

this book has been sitting in my library for so long now and I'm so happy I decided to put it on while working today. I was not expecting to get as emotional with it as I did. I highly recommend this book. the characters are written so well I feel like I'm actually getting to know them. huge props to the writer and the readers.

the story is fast paced so it grabs and keeps your attention the whole time. the voice actors did a fantastic job the whole time. my only issue with it was that the ending didn't have as big of an impact as I expected it to I guess. it was highly talked up to me but maybe it's just not a good choice for me. over all it was excellent though. A+ writing
