The story is great. The voice acting is great. And if you don't like it, Chester will eat you - because, you know, you're tasty!

This book was a great successor to the first 3 books and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a fun dungeon romp that reminded me of my old D&D days!

A Great Finale!
Reviewed: 10-10-17
I really enjoyed a number of other books about rogues and thieves (like The Lies of Locke Lamora) and this is now right up there near the top of my list. The protagonist has a good mix of cockiness and vulnerability and the story is unique enough that despite my dislike of genre mixing (slight spoiler sorry), I was still captivated. After listening to the first one, I immediately went and bought the other two books in the series and was not disappointed.
The third book was really good and wrapped up the story well. I'm not completely sure how I feel about the final scene, but I'm willing to go with it.

Great Listen - Just What the Doctor Ordered!
Reviewed: 10-10-17
I started listening to this during a 2 hours route canal and thankfully it was engaging and interesting enough to hold my attention - for the most part - through the root canal. By the end, I was hooked and listened to the rest eagerly.
The performance was good, but not exceptional, and the story and world was unique and interesting.
I'm looking forward to book 2.
