I honestly thought, given the title, that this book was going to be full of cliches and attempts to use shock and profanity to get attention and be taken seriously...boy was I wrong. Mark Manson is now on my short list of authors, along with Robert Holden, Jack Kornfield, and Robert Wright, who have written things so profound and yet at the core simple, true, and relatable. I will definitely be listening to this book more than once and recommending it to everyone I talk to.

This book it so good, and has so much truth and good advice in it, that you will want to listen to it multiple times, just to make sure you really soak it all in. Great author and great book.

Not much on social anxiety. Unless you match the author's struggles with picking up women, and are in your early 20's, I wouldn't buy this book.
