Story
The theft of the Best Idea in the Universe from Thresia's Intergalactic Bank of Ideas plunges the Discovered Universe into chaos. With a robotic partner who’s not the machine he fell in love with and a mind as cool and measured as a forest fire, Isaac must unravel a cosmic conspiracy that stretches further than the reaches of even his depraved imagination. Earth and Thresia teeter on the brink of war as the race to recover the Best Idea intensifies. Yet in this bizarre Universe, truth proves stranger - and far more perilous - than fiction.

Since the Forever Man, I’ve checked-in on this author hoping for a sequel. I’m dismayed we get this awesome book for free because I wish the author could quit his day job and cater to my entertainment needs. The humor and creativity are top notch. The author makes the characters real and unique with his voice.

He is a fantastic storyteller. I love the mind-bending antics. Each writer is funny, talented, and seem like awesome guys to meet. I wish I could get away to their A&D Cons. The community they have on Discord and Facebook is filled with kind, accepting people that love D&D.

Impatient for Next in Series

I check almost every month for a new book in this series. I’ve listened to the three books many times and it still amuses me. The narrator is one of my favorites! He brings so much to the story and the bloopers real is fantastic. [I’m also hoping for a new Sidekicks book-I challenge anyone to read it and not laugh.]

Welcome to Avalantis, Alaska, the world’s first supercity with over 50 million myth and mundane citizens and home of those rejected by society. Although due to pesky things like murder end explosions, there are a few fewer citizens. Laughter

This book has comradery, laughter, and a unique world. I seem to be in the minority thinking this is Gibson's best. I dearly wish more people would buy this book and rate it well so he'd write a sequel.

Story
The acidly funny first book starring the subversive sleuth in one of the most successful mystery series of all time. Fletch is an investigative reporter whose methods are a little unorthodox. Currently he's living on the beach. He's taking more than a little flak from his editor. She doesn't appreciate his style. Or the expense account items he's racking up. Or his definition of the word "deadline". Or the divorce lawyers who keep showing up at the office. So when multimillionaire Alan Stanwyk offers Fletch the job of a lifetime, which could be worth a fortune, he's intrigued.

Agent Isaac Steele has problems. He spends all his splibs on drink and drugs. He has some deep-seated and very much unresolved issues with his parents. And his robotic partner at Greatest Britain’s Department of Clarification, Dr Timothy Stephens, is ruled more by his heart than his hard drive. But all these issues take a back seat when Isaac stumbles upon a case involving the most sensitive information in the cosmos - a Never File, inaccessible to all except those with the highest clearance. He is expressly forbidden to involve himself. So naturally he does.

I love listening to these friends play. I've gotten attached to them. This is my first play podcast and I'm enchanted. The story line is good but the best part is listening to the friends banter. I'm sad that I'm on the last episode and am grateful for the plugs of other podcasts. I hope to hear more from this group. To paraphrase Gas Station Jack, ending this series is already causing a book hangover. I want to know what the players and characters do next.
