Story
Olivia Carver's life in Lake Cabot, New York, is simple. That's how she likes it, even if she can't stop the town she loves from being overrun by wealthy tourists each summer. When she's not working at her family's paddleboard shop or spending time with her lovable but infuriating brothers, she puts her energy into writing professionally, a dream that has yet to materialize.

Great Storytelling
Reviewed: 11-15-21
A wonderful author who rarely, if ever, misses her target and an equally talented narrator that breathes life into every story she graces. A near dynamic duo. Lovely book and fun characters. I highly recommend to any fans of sapphic romance. Especially if you’re interested in tame but present drama.

Still Great

The first 2 1/2 hours were incredible. Just great writing and wonderful chemistry between the two main characters. The storyline loses momentum shortly after. Trading a slow pace and flirty dialogue, for two flimsy sub plots. The majority of this book felt convoluted and spacey. Which is a shame, because the beginning had me truly enthralled.

Story
After being rejected one too many times, Chelsea makes a bold vow: No more men. Her friends doubt a boy-crazy party girl can handle not dating for a year, but that only makes Chelsea more determined. Tara has made a vow, too. After growing up in foster care and suppressing herself to please others, she's going to live her truth. When she sees a beautiful woman, she'll make her attraction known. Chelsea appreciates Tara's flirtatious compliments, not to mention her androgynous beauty. There's a loophole in Chelsea's vow, and it's more tempting every day.

Fluff

A sweeter story than I anticipated. It juggled a lot of sensitive subjects, without taking itself too seriously. A very enjoyable story.
