Story
Hot on the heels of the New York Times bestseller William Shakespeare's Star Wars comes the next two installments of the original trilogy: William Shakespeare's The Empire Striketh Back and William Shakespeare's The Jedi Doth Return. Return to the star-crossed galaxy far, far away as the brooding young hero, a power-mad emperor, and their jesting droids match wits, struggle for power, and soliloquize in elegant and impeccable iambic pentameter. These two plays offer essential listening for all ages.

Great sans meep squeak.

Loved it all. The meep squeaks from r2d2 were a little annoying. All other voices were well done imo.

Haven't finished, but Narration is annoying

I really enjoy homeland and picked this up without listening to a sample. I have to say I am not a fan of this narrator, chiefly she doesn't sound like Carrie and has a Boston or maybe New York accent which gets in the way of the story for me, also it doesn't sound like this narrator knows how to do a spy novel justice, feels like shes just reading it, not giving it any life. As for the story nothing fantastic so far, but well see...

This one is a big set up for the next and moves very quickly only criticism is that this one could have been drawn out more. Very good and a must read for the series!

Story
New York Times best-selling author, Eric Van Lustbader, returns with another Jason Bourne thriller as he spars off against another deadly agent - and he might be the perfect match for Bourne. Facing down mercenaries in Africa, Jason Bourne witnesses the death of an art dealer named Tracy Atherton. Her killing dredges up snatches of Bourne's impaired memory, in particular the murder of a young woman on Bali who entrusted him with a strangely engraved ring-an artifact of such powerful significance that people have killed to obtain it.

Narration issues
Reviewed: 10-04-10
Of the Eric Van Lustbader Bourne audio-books, this one has the worst narrator, doesn't do good accents and sounds like he has a chest cold the entire time. I would look at the Bourne Legacy or Bourne Betrayal if you want a new Bourne audio book, much better. Jeremy Davison was a much better narrator.
