Story
A balanced account of game changes, conflicts and ambitions. The fall from popular grace of the previously adulated brother of the heir to the British throne as a consequence of his marriage to a beautiful and dynamic Hollywood starlet of colour makes for fascinating listening in best-selling royal author Lady Colin Campbell's balanced account. Lady Colin knows her royal history and psychology, and as the first seven years of her adult life were spent in the USA, she has a foot in both the American and British camps.

Confirmed what many suspected all along
Reviewed: 03-01-23
Since this book was released, who and what Meghan and Harry are has become even more apparent. As an American, I find it offensive that the author puts all Americans into one culture, mindset, and values of what is acceptable and what is not. That is no more true than assuming that all Brits think alike. We are not all Hollywood or woke or of a leftist mindset. The average American rejects those ideals. From day one, I believed the left-leaning Meghan would be a regret for the British monarchy. Most Americans admired and had warm feelings for the Queen. We grieved her death with the British people. Many of us suspected Meghans marriage to Harry was more of a move to realize her goal of fame and wealth, not to serve and fulfill her role as a Royal. Name an actor or actress who does not crave the limelight, attention, and adoration of the public. Harry and Meghan had better hope their children don't write tell-all books about them. Trashing and disrespecting their families publicly, I would say, was what turned most Americans against these two grifters. This book just confirmed what many of us suspected all along.

The information in this book becomes overwhelming at times. There is so much to absorb. If I hadnt just witnessed the last 2+ years of the actions during this pandemic I might have been skeptical but this book shows us that this has been in the works for years. Ignore the critics of Robert Kennedy Jr and get this book.

A woman disappears on her way to work. A man is convicted of her murder. But this case is different. Though the police believe they have the right man, key components of the prosecution case are missing. There is no body of the victim, no witnesses to the crime, no confession and no physical evidence: no DNA, CCTV or murder weapon.

King's Cross is Timothy Keller's revelatory look at the life of Christ as told in the Gospel of Mark. There have been many biographies of Jesus, but few will be as anticipated as this one by Keller, the man Newsweek calls "a C. S. Lewis for the 21st century". In it, Keller shows how the story of Jesus is at once cosmic, historical, and personal, calling each of us to look anew at our relationship with God.

Story
For his victims, for their families and for the investigators tasked with finding him, the senselessness and brutality of the Golden State Killer's acts were matched only by the powerlessness they felt at failing to uncover his identity. Then, on April 24, 2018, authorities arrested 72-year-old Joseph James DeAngelo at his home in Citrus Heights, Calif., based on DNA evidence linked to the crimes. Amazingly, it seemed, evil finally had a name. Please note: This work contains descriptions of violent crime and sexual assault and may not be suitable for all listeners.

Story
The Shot Caller is both a never-to-be-forgotten insider’s look at the violent world of gangs and prison life and a powerful, modern demonstration of how God will go to the most miraculous extremes to reach even the worst sinners. Casey Diaz came to this country when he was just two years old, the oldest son of El Salvadorian immigrants who settled in the barrios near downtown Los Angeles in the 1970s. An abusive family life propelled Casey into street gangs at the age of eleven and he rose quickly within the ranks of the Rockwood Street Locos to become their leader.
