this series has gotten so much hate, probably by women who don't understand what M/s, BDSM, Old Guard, or Lifestyle means.

is there abuse? To the naked eye, yes. Is this a dynamic, Lifestyle, M/s story? Absolutely.

Thus series is so very well done. Ellie and the others are pain sluts. Plain and simple. Don't expect fluffy bunnies, sparkling unicorns, or soft and gentle from this series.

A feckin' savage ride to the very end!

M. Never is one of those rare authors. She not only gets your attention with imagery and titles, but the whole damned story. She had a cat-o-nines in her hand with every book, daring you. Promising to one day use it.

Well, with Dangerously, she struck my back, pulled me in, licked my cheek and dared me to ask for more!

The story is so wickedly delicious, so full of twists and turns that M. Night Shyamalan goes to HER for plot twist advice! You'll go through so many emotions, sometimes all at once, that you'll need a therapist at the end!

And yet, you'll beg for more. Every. Single. Time.
So be a good kitten, listen to this story, and fall in love and lust all over again! Also...I call dibs on Decs.

If you're looking for paranormal romance, keep loo

This book is completely aggravating for several different reasons.
1. The "will they or won't they" continues right up until the last few chapters, and even then, it continues.
2. the portrayal of Valkyrie is completely upsetting, at least it was to me.
3. The "leeches" were flat, 1 dimensional, uninteresting slovenly beasts. They remind me of a half Brujah, half Nosferatu amalgamation from Vampire The Masquerade.
4. The performance of the narrator was excellent.

great story. baaaad performance

The story was great! Well developed characters, good plot, fantastic fully played scenes!

However, the performance of the narrator was horrendous. You can't make out certain bits, It's like he was a first time narrator with zero experience, recording in his living room with nothing to cancel out the background noise. Unfortunately, it made the book hard to listen to.

A day in the mind of a submissive

Again, this book leaves me with a stronger belief that the author is a submissive. You get a full idea of the thoughts of a submissive; pain, fear, dread, anxiety, acceptance, submission and finally..Love. A beautiful story of pure love between a Dominant and submissive.

Well worth the read, an introduction into the supreme dynamic between two involved in a loving BDSM relationship. This story, so far with part 2, reminds me so much of my own loving relationship with my husband, lover, best friend and Dominant.

If you have any questions about the feelings, the experiences, and inner workings of a real D/s lifestyle. It is also incredibly evident that she has had experience with some form of "false dominant".

The story is very well written, and executed. Both the author and narrator are very talented!

now, allow me to fangirl! HOLY EFFING CRAP! Is it wrong to want to sign up to be a bride candidate?! So very well done, a well thought out plot and storyline. I can't wait to read others and then read the entire series again!
