Story
In this compelling, behind-the-scenes account, former top CIA officer and Cuba expert Brian Latell examines the extraordinary Castro brothers and the impending dynastic succession of Fidel's younger brother, Raul. Exploring the brothers' remarkable relationship, he reveals how Fidel and Raul have collaborated, divided responsibilities, and resolved disagreements for more than 46 years, a challenge to the notion that the little-known Raul has been an insignificant player.

Tremendous insight and well written. Learned so much about the evolution of Cuba and it’s dictatorship. To bad such a confused misguided group tore lives apart and ruined a country. The Mafia at its best. A reign of terror by thugs.

Great and very interesting first half. After 401 principles I’m worn out. Couldn’t get through to the end. Great personal story, and obviously a very bright man, but I couldn’t live like that. Thanks

Story
The must-have companion to Bill O'Reilly's historical docudrama Legends and Lies: The Patriots, an exciting and eye-opening look at the Revolutionary War through the lives of its leaders. The American Revolution was neither inevitable nor a unanimous cause. It pitted neighbors against each other as loyalists and colonial rebels faced off for their lives and futures. These were the times that tried men's souls: No one was on stable ground, and few could be trusted.

Story
No One Would Listen is the exclusive story of the Harry Markopolos-lead investigation into Bernie Madoff and his $65 billion Ponzi scheme. While a lot has been written about Madoff's scam, few actually know how Markopolos and his team - affectionately called "the Fox Hounds" by Markopolos himself - uncovered what Madoff was doing years before this financial disaster reached its pinnacle. Unfortunately, no one listened, until the damage of the world's largest financial fraud ever was irreversible.

If you could sum up No One Would Listen in three words, what would they be?
I loved the story. Well done Mr. Markopolos. Found the entire book fascinating and wish you much success in your futures exploits.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I lived through the Madoff episode, not personally affected, but know people who were. I am in industry and had a vivid understanding of what was being said and explained. Found the book fantastic and easy to recommend.
Which scene was your favorite?
The aftermath of the Madoff confession and the events unfolding during the entire book. The incompetence of the SEC, not to mention other entities that should have known or investigated. Where was Elliott Spitzer, Oh he was on business in Washington?
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The discovery of Mr. Markopolos and his team that this was a fraud and how far back it was discovered.
Any additional comments?
Loved the book. The epilogue got a Lillie to long, but other than that, terrific.
