Geddy Lee is one of rock and roll's most respected bassists. For nearly five decades, his playing and work as co-writer, vocalist and keyboardist has been an essential part of the success story of Canadian progressive rock trio Rush. Here for the first time is his account of life inside and outside the band.

This audio of Geddy’s book was so good I’m going to listen for a second time…maybe even three!

Story
Few bands are as shrouded in the murky haze of rock mythology as The Doors, and parsing fact from fiction has been a virtually impossible task. But now, after 50 years, The Doors’ notoriously quiet guitarist is finally breaking his silence to set the record straight. Set the Night on Fire is packed with never-before-told stories from The Doors’ most vital years, and offers a fresh perspective on the most infamous moments of the band’s career.

The Last Word
Reviewed: 08-30-22
I’m glad Robby waited until now to write his autobiography. In doing so he gets a chance to provide his side of the story - and he doesn’t mince any words. I especially enjoyed getting his perspective on the various embellishments Oliver Stone (and others) made while making the Doors movie, and putting to rest certain falsehoods about Jim Morrison. I also liked how the book jumps back and forth to different time periods, which is atypical to other authors who write linearly and in chronological order, which is boring. I’m just amazed he had the patience to wait this long to provide his side of the story, and so happy it was Robby Krieger who got the last word.

Story
Two sisters. Two voices. One Heart.
The mystery of "Magic Man." The wicked riff of "Barracuda." The sadness and beauty of "Alone." The raw energy of "Crazy On You." These songs, and so many more, are part of the fabric of American music. Heart, fronted by Ann and Nancy Wilson, has given fans everywhere classic, raw, and pure badass rock and roll for more than three decades. As the only sisters in rock who write their own music and play their own instruments, Ann and Nancy have always stood apart - certainly from their male counterparts but also from their female peers.

Excellent...Thank You!!

I thought this was an excellent audio book especially that the narrators were all the original people. Even Mike and Roger Fisher have appearances. The book ends around 2011, which unfortunately does not cover their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction or their Kennedy Center performance in honor of Led Zeppelin. I bet they could write a small book on those two events alone. Perhaps they could update the book with a newer edition to include those historical moments?
