Story
Shetty grew up in a family where you could become one of three things—a doctor, a lawyer, or a failure. His family was convinced he had chosen option three: Instead of attending his college graduation ceremony, he headed to India to become a monk, to meditate every day for four to eight hours, and devote his life to helping others. After three years, one of his teachers told him that he would have more impact on the world if he left the monk’s path to share his experience and wisdom with others.

Good Story Teller Talks Fast

I would have enjoyed this audio book had the author/narrator slowed down. I was expecting a calming experience. Although much of the information if helpful and the tone is great, the speed of the reading didn’t allow it to be fully digested via audio book. I don’t recommend the audio book for this reason, Perhaps purchase & read if you have time.

This book can strengthen you

The advice in this book is empowering. Insightful for addicts, a starting point. Strengthens the weak in spirit and reminds us that there will definitely be obstacles & conflict in this world, but we can overcome by staying in tune with Gods conversation in our mind, not the enemies.

Story
In The Return of the Gods, Cahn takes the listener on a journey from an ancient parable, the ancient inscriptions in Sumer, Assyria, and Babylonia that become the puzzle pieces behind what is taking place in our world to this day, specifically in America. The mystery involves the gods. Who are they? What are they? And is it possible that these beings, whose origins are from ancient times, are the unseen catalysts of modern culture?

Repetitive evil spirits portrayed as “Gods”
Reviewed: 12-26-23
Evil spirits worshiped by Americans as Gods, drilled into you. Could have said more with less obsessiveness. Perhaps people need repetitiveness. Pray up & be well versed in scripture so you don’t allow darkness to overcome you when you read or listen to this one. Be aware there is One God who is creator over all, who allows all things for a set time, but will destroy every evil being seen and unseen in His perfect timing.

I wasn’t sure what I would find between these pages. I could often vision the setting as if I was there within the story. The Author and Narrator are a perfect match for this incredible tale. A delightful surprise that I will rad more than once.

Enlightening, raw, and interesting journey that I would have never guessed. I only wish the ending was more complete, but as with her life it is appropriate. Highly artistic.
