The book is entertaining and a very light-hearted listen. The mystery aspect of it is fun, however the story line is often moving very slowly.

Tiffy and Leon share an apartment. Tiffy and Leon have never met. After a bad breakup, Tiffy Moore needs a place to live. Fast. And cheap. But the apartments in her budget have her wondering if astonishingly colored mold on the walls counts as art. Desperation makes her open minded, so she answers an ad for a flatshare. Leon, a night shift worker, will take the apartment during the day, and Tiffy can have it nights and weekends. He'll only ever be there when she's at the office. In fact, they'll never even have to meet.

Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. He really was good at telling it…right up until the moment he realized he was actually in love with his childhood best friend Petra. Which is how Daphne begins her new story.

Story
Anna Green thought she was marrying Liam “West” Weston for access to subsidized family housing while at UCLA. She also thought she’d signed divorce papers when the graduation caps were tossed, and they both went on their merry ways. Three years later, Anna is a starving artist living paycheck to paycheck while West is a Stanford professor. He may be one of four heirs to the Weston Foods conglomerate, but he has little interest in working for the heartless corporation his family built from the ground up. He is interested, however, in his one-hundred-million-dollar inheritance.

Story
Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. They never fight. They're preparing for their lavish wedding that's three months away. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him. Naomi wants out, but there's a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill.

Overall it's a solid read. The performance was great and the writing style is pleasant. I enjoy enemies-to-lovers stories and liked the idea of adding a third step: lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers.
However, I find the female protagonist to be very immature. The entire storyline basically resolved on her being pratty and stubborn. Eventually there is some character development, but you wonder if any of the drama could have been resolved with one honest conversation.

Overall, a delightful listen. It's well written, has believable characters and a good character development.
I had to get used to the voice of the narrator. She just doesn't have a voice I really enjoy but she did a good job narrating the book and her male voices are believable and enjoying.
all in all: would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, I did not come to enjoy this book as much as I wanted to. The writing itself is pleasant, but the storyline is rather depressing. Even though I could tell what points on relationships the author was trying to bring across, I did not find the book enjoyable and was debating not to finish it several times.

Story
Princess Annika has lived a life of comfort—but no amount of luxuries can change the fact that her life isn’t her own to control. The king, once her loving father, has gone cold, and Annika will soon be forced into a loveless marriage for political gain. Miles away, small comforts are few and far between for Lennox. He has devoted his life to the Dahrainian army, hoping to one day help them reclaim the throne that was stolen from them. For Lennox, the idea of love is merely a distraction—nothing will stand in the way of fighting for his people.

After the amazing Selection series, this book was a must-have for me. even though the writing style was definitely familiar, the story felt very slow-paced and dragged on. It was entertaining enough and I finished the entire book but would not necessarily recommend it.
The narrators did a decent job but the male voice actor's female voices were pretty bad. Even though the female narrator did better on the male voices, her range was pretty limited and all men sounded the same to me.
