Great series but

Read the first book and now the second. Great series over all but Zach storyline is terrible . He tries to pretend to have the moral high ground over Ryun . Your government had someone corrupt in it and force ppl to give essence. He wanted no part of that. Created his own way then you guys capture him and destroyed his life. After his retaliation you were upset. He told you to leave him alone you still sent ppl after him. You come to a new world with the same grudge against him fall in love with someone who is killing innocent people but comprise your morals for her and still keep your grudge against Ryun . Who is meanwhile trying to help others become strong and get out of oppression if they are willing to fight it. Also don’t forget Zach kills ppl and steal their essence also.

Terrible writing overall thru the whole series
Reviewed: 03-13-24
How do you go from trying to escape someone and come up with the bright idea let’s paint our vehicle to stand out from the rest. The whole series basically devolved in a couple weeks and was so unbelievable. Two days in we already have full city of mass murders sacrificing ppl to zombies. Let alone ppl killing for no reason and not even try to survive or get resources. The plot was all over the place. Less than a week in the apocalypse a random group has an rpg killing survivors

This story had so much potential

The first three books were good till you realize that all everyone did was lie abuse junco. The next book in series starts with every two sentences junco is crying none stop. For someone who is powerful as they say, all she does is literally cry. How can you really love the ppl around when it constant lie? The whole team lies to her. Tier is abusive and abduct her against her will. Like what the hell is that and she still telling him she wants to be with him. The title of this book should have been we have secrets and we continue to lie to you at every opportunity.
