Some kids are moved out of the home literally before their brains have finished developing. So it's no surprise that we all fail to hold our tempers when dealing with them at some point in their 18 years wherein they desperately need our guidance and patience. This book does a fantastic job of showing us the mind of children throughout their development, allowing us to relate to the world as they see it, and thus get a stronger empathy with them. It is only through mutual understanding and respect that we can grow them into the best adults they can be. Great read that truly understands your frustrations.

A book that distills complex science for everyone!

They say the difference between a teacher and a scientist is that a teacher is able to present the complex studies of a scientist in such a way as to be understood by young and learning minds. Consider this book your teacher then, because I honestly thought quantum physics was a subject that would sail over my head for as long as I lived. Nope! Turns out even I can easily begin my journey of learning with this fantastic audiobook. It breaks down the hard science to its root principles and theories in such a way that we learn without ever feeling that we are being condescended to. My sincere thanks to the team at Pantheon Space Academy who clearly have a deep knowledge of what is truly the deepest science, but is able to use that knowledge to readily teach and inform, rather than confuse and frustrate. Your eyes will be opened to a (literally) whole new universe and I cannot reccomend it highly enough. WOW.

This book is the perfect way to deal with persistent stress or depression. We all need the reminders of our own value and how blessed we are just by the strength of our own souls. A lot of people disregard affirmations as nothing more than a dopamine hit, but the fact is that no one wallowing in despair ever worked their way out of any physical problem, whether that be relationships, financial debt, or an unfulfilling job. Our outlook on ourselves is what gives us the strength and motivation to overcome the other problems of life. Don't think of affirmations as meaningless self-care. Think of them as what they really are: The first step required to accomplish your dreams in life. A great read, and beautifully narrated by Tara Slusher. You'll love it!

I grew up without electric heating. To me, the sound of a crackling fire isn't just comfort. It was life itself on cold nights in the north. I'll always love the encouragement that such sounds of nature bring me, a reminder that they're hope even in the dark and cold. This audio is as lovely as any Christmas Yule-log channel and the perfect ambience for sleeping, meditation, or just relaxation. Enjoy!

This was great. I've always loved studying about the world beyond our world, everything from the Big Bang to stellar formation and singularities. There's so much to learn, and this is a simple, fun way to do it. So much to learn, and this was roughly 200 things that I didn't know before. Incredible book that makes learning riveting, simple, and joyful! Great for kids and adults alike, you'll love it!

One of my passions is studying financial tips and tricks, and also writing about them in a way that's simple for an everyday audience. This book was right up my alley, and is a great tool for anyone who wants to introduce their kids to money management from an early age. It's simple, straight-forward, and common sense advice that your kids will thank you for years down the road. Highly recommended!

This is the kind of book that makes you grateful for the people who write books. So much knowledge that is more needed than most civilized societies would like to believe is compiled and carefully categorized to help you in one of the most frightening situations in First World countries: "But what if the grocery store doesn't have what you need one day?" In our current state of record-setting inflation, supply-chain chaos, and food shortages bordering on full-blown recession, it is books like this that are truly worth spending just a few dollars on for the good of yourself and your family. We all need to eat, and we have gotten far too complacent about where our next meal is coming from. Turning back the clock even a few decades is not the terrible thing that so many people would have us believe. There was a strength and knowledge in the past that helped save lives and build the advanced society that we enjoy today. But we cannot expect that society to be self-sustaining. We need to get back to nature, get some dirt on our hands, and watch our own food rise up from the ground. Truly a fantastic book. Listen to it, get a physical copy for your bookshelf, and gift it to a friend. My highest recommendation.

Sage Lively has put together a fantastic guide for the frustrated parent who may feel that they've totally lost control, and their kid is holding the reins. Kids need love and fun, but we serve them best (and prepare them for life) by teaching them delayed gratification, routine, discipline, respect for elders, and responsibility. This book does a great job of breaking down child psychology to an everyday level, spiced up with anecdotes, heart, and a lot of humor. I loved it. Buy it today, and buy a second copy for a friend!

It's hard to believe that someone who has suffered as much as the author and her family could ever pick up the pieces and move into a better life with such a shining hope as that which Latanya Lyons emanates. Truly one of the most inspirational stories of strength, courage, and hope you will ever hear from a woman who endured unspeakable pain and tragedy, but was determined at every step to not live her life as a victim. She rose above every challenge and episode of abuse, knowing that in the darkest days we need to be our own heroes. Tales like this are the reason we need audiobooks. This kind of story, and the motivational messages within, need to be shared by a human voice. For once, just reading words on a page would seem insufficient to relay the pain, healing, and redemption of Latanya's story. We need to hear her humanity and her bravery, and narrator Lynda Nelson is perfect to relay that humanity to us. Share this one with friends, and they'll be as moved and inspired as you will be. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
