The third book was a failure

I have no problem with the narration, Travis always does his absolute best when he can. What truly makes me think this book is a failure is the hard left turn the story makes. The second book had its moments at the end of it, but from the get go this book as derailed from what the series started out as. From the multiple point of view shifts, the Goddess herself, and the overall story. I just can't take it.
