Short prequel

This is a short prequel to a series. While this is not my usual genre, this definitely got me interested in starting book one. I am curious to see where it goes. Enjoyed the narrator which is a definite plus.

Entertaining Listen…

Small town vibe with well developed and likable main characters on the run from the mob. Story kept me guessing until the end and I would definitely recommend it. I also really enjoyed the narration and found it easy to recognize characters by voice. For those interested-spice was foreplay fading to black.
(There is a possible trigger for SA of a minor. This was off page and had happened years earlier. Brief mention with no details.)

Story
Drew Beckett’s life is a well-curated plan. Small-town to successful Assistant U.S. Attorney, assigned to an above-the-fold case that could eliminate a notorious crime family and put her firmly in line for her ultimate promotion. The last thing she needs is a distraction; like a threat on her life or the seriously lickable dimples on the U.S. Marshal assigned to protect her.

I love a good fake relationship and I really enjoyed this story. Characters were well developed and the narration enhanced the story. If you enjoy a well written, skillfully narrated, low angst, age gap sapphic romance, this is the book for you. Oh, and spice…there was definitely spice!!

Not your run-of-the-mill romance

This story is complex, chaotic, messy and remarkable. A roller coaster of a ride with a memorable and eclectic group of queer characters. It’s a journey of twists and turns where dreams can come true. Ticket to ride=one credit. Enjoy!

Story
Eighteen-year-old Charlee Parker met the love of her life in a parking lot-a leggy brunette with a valedictorian medal hanging from her rear-view mirror and an attitude as biting as a Boston winter. Alexandra Woodson was guarded, a 19-year-old orphan set on a bright future in hospitality administration. She never imagined an art student with a penchant for cheesy pick-up lines and stealing parking spaces would crack her rigid exterior and claim her heart. For four years, theirs was an enviable love - evergreen and growing. Unbreakable... until it broke.
