Story
Women need to know it's okay to be kind and assertive. Between Grit and Grace will show you that success comes when you are comfortable living in the space between grit and grace - grit meaning being resilient and taking charge of your life (socially-acceptable masculine attributes), and grace meaning showing others mercy (socially-acceptable feminine trait).

Life changing!
Reviewed: 10-13-23
It was very interesting as a physician. I learned many facts which were a combination of not known or not felt important enough to be taught as part of the medical school curriculum. As a person it has changed my mentality to exercise for mental health as opposed to keeping the recommended BMI. I feel this change is a better “why” and will lead to more sustained efforts in the future. Well done Dr. Ratey & Mr Hagerman. Well done.

Story
Some parents are plain mean, mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive, manipulative, lying and cold blooded towards their children. They are the kind of parents that you would rather live without than live with; parents you want to distance yourself from and forget that they exist because every time you talk to them, they bring their vile of mean comments, arguments, bring you down, and find opportunities to be aggressive even when not necessary.

Fake Book Alert!!!
Reviewed: 11-21-20
I thought it was odd that the voice sounded automated. However I (unfortunately) listened to this for well over an hour. I believe it starts off with the correct book but at some point it is hijacked! For example, the actual author’s name is Karen. At one point it speaks of someone talking to the author and refers to the author as a “he” named “Adam”. It then goes on to speak of Neptune’s effect on us and sin. I am SO UPSET that I wasted a credit on this fake reading! I can’t believe there are people out there who would sink so low as to try to have their writings heard by advertising them as someone else’s.
