Exec must read - game changer

Content and examples were novel. At least to me. Someone who is hitting executive level for first time. What stuck is what got me here is not what I need to keep doing. My mentor, a long time fortune 50 company CISO, recommended this. Listen often for refreshers.

My fav sleeping noise. Also great on the early morning train. I listen to it almost every day. Very realistic in sounds. Like outside under shelter but can see and feel the rain.

If you don’t know then you don’t need to know. Greene is a superb author and philosopher basing his writings on relevant historical non-fiction.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Entertaining and true ...

As a reader of many similar books and knowing that I can learn from everyone, this book emphasises attributes such as how to understand people, love yourself, be accepting, and creating values, as well as all these things in others.
I was entertained and laughed often. It is a practical book that I have already quoted with friends and shared with a least a dozen.
Recommend highly for anyone that is interested in being better, knowing more, understanding life and those of us in it, and generally someone who is focused on achieving goals...any goals. So that's hopefully everyone!
Thanks!
Jess
