Story
Janusz Korczak was more than a good doctor. He was a hero. The Dr. Spock of his day, he established orphanages run on his principle of honoring children and shared his ideas with the public in books and on the radio. He famously said that "children are not the people of tomorrow, but people today". Korczak was a man ahead of his time, whose work ultimately became the basis for the UN Declaration of the Rights of the Child.

Emotionally Heavy Read, Necessary Reminder
Reviewed: 04-03-22
Marrin delivers living history through facts, quotes from diaries, war-time poems, and vivid imagery of how inhumanely the Nazis treated the Polish Jews, focusing on the Warsaw Ghetto. He writes history in a very accessible way that sticks with the reader.

Story
Liberals know they’re within reach of radically transforming America. They don’t like the US Constitution. They’re allergic to Americans’ “gun culture”. They find our faith and our devotion to family distasteful. And our commitment to liberty positively sends them into a panic. As soon as the Democrats get power anywhere, they stand ready to throw our God-given rights under the bus of political correctness, transgender insanity, and socialism (the economic system that always promises equality and utopia, but somehow always delivers resentment, poverty, and decay).
