Story
The Moonlight Wraith is hungry to regain his stolen throne, and he claims I have the magic he needs to secure his vengeance. He must have lost his sanity along with his kingdom, because the only true ability I possess is wielding my smart mouth at times I shouldn't. So I do what any drunk human trying to survive in a supernatural world might do—I throw up on his shoes.

The Betrayal
Reviewed: 06-04-24
This might’ve been better if I’d read it rather than listened. The female narrator made the MFC seem very whiney. She had a decent mimic for the MMC voice, but this was primarily told from the MFC’s perspective. I would’ve liked to see more from him. Following the first book in this series, it was kind of disappointing. The first book was incredible. That said, this is a different author and different writing style. While the MMC oozed sex appeal, the MFC was very awkward and embarrassing as well as very juvenile. There wasn’t much spice and when the spice hit it left much to be desired. The betrayal at the end though. WOW.

This was knot what I expected…

This felt like it was written by teenager with a kink of watching animals mate. There were several cringe worthy moments. Just knot my cup of tea.
