What did you love best about The Never List?

The twists and turns the plot took during the story as well as the characters.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, very much so. Just when you think you know what's what in the book, perspectives change and make you doubt your initial analysis.

Which character – as performed by Kristen Sieh – was your favorite?

The main character Sarah. She gave the character life and I enjoyed the developing relationship the narrator builds with you through the character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! Definitely! Could not put it down. I usually only listen at work but I made an exception for the last two books I listened to. I just had to know what was going to play out.

Any additional comments?

Wonderful story line and I loved what the element of a narrator brought to the table.

Would you consider the audio edition of Close My Eyes to be better than the print version?

I am not sure because I didn't read the print version but I ABSOLUTELY loved the audio edition. It took me a while to get used to the narrator and her accent but after that I really couldn't put the book down.

What did you like best about this story?

The complex plot line.

What about Marisa Calin’s performance did you like?

She made all of the characters stand out. Despite it being just one narrator for this story she made me feel connected to each of the characters and used appropriate dialect.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It kept me on the edge of my seat. While I realize some people may not feel the same I enjoyed earning each new detail as I continued on throughout the story.

Any additional comments?

I really loved this book! It surprised me how much I enjoyed it.

What made the experience of listening to The Weight of Silence the most enjoyable?

The story line compelled me to keep listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Weight of Silence?

When everything finally came together.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It gave personality to the book that words on a page alone cannot give.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Twists and turns beneath the cold rapids of the reality of youth.

I loved the intricate story Goodman weaves within the pages of Arcadia Falls. Goodman skillfully combines tales of old with present day characters and stories. The vivid description of Arcadia Falls makes you feel as though you are there with the characters the author has conjured.

What other book might you compare Arcadia Falls to and why?

Lake of Dead Languages

What about Jen Taylor’s performance did you like?

She read at a good pace and with clear diction.
