Story
In the war for control of the galaxy between the armies of the dark side and the Republic, former Jedi Master turned ruthless Sith Lord Count Dooku has grown ever more brutal in his tactics. Despite the powers of the Jedi and the military prowess of their clone army, the sheer number of fatalities is taking a terrible toll. And when Dooku orders the massacre of a flotilla of helpless refugees, the Jedi Council feels it has no choice but to take drastic action: targeting the man responsible for so many war atrocities, Count Dooku himself.

If you love Ventress this is the book for you
Reviewed: 06-21-21
Mark Thompson's characteristic Star Wars reading will bring you bring you back into the world of clone wars and treat you to an in depth look at Ventress. This novel explores her flirty and seductive sides hinted at in the show, not to mention her ambiguous moral compass.

Listen to the Neverland story first, and possibly the Storm Warning for context. Also watch The 5 Doctors special it will give context for many of the characters and places traveled to.

Story
Space is a world devoid of the things we need to live and thrive: air, gravity, hot showers, fresh produce, privacy, beer. Space exploration is in some ways an exploration of what it means to be human. How much can a person give up? How much weirdness can they take? What happens to you when you can’t walk for a year? Have sex? Smell flowers? What happens if you vomit in your helmet during a space walk? Is it possible for the human body to survive a bailout at 17,000 miles per hour?

Well researched and funny

Mary's dry wit is captured beautifully by Sandra as you are propelled through all of the unusual and occasionally taboo aspects of space travel. Plus several of the more extreme hoaxes reported in other space and NASA books are handily debunked.
