Story
Five-star General Dwight D. Eisenhower was arguably the single most important military figure of World War II. Crusade in Europe tells the complete story of the war as he planned and executed it. Through Eisenhower's eyes the enormous scope and drama of the war—strategy, battles, moments of great decision—become fully illuminated in all their fateful glory. Penned before his Presidency, this account is deeply human and helped propel him to the highest office.

This is the first time I have been past the first 10 or so pages. A very dry tome at the best. The narrator made the difference!

Story
In Washington, DC, in late November 1941, admirals compose the most ominous message in navy history to warn Hawaii of possible danger, but they write it too vaguely. They think precautions are being taken but never check to see if they are. A key intelligence officer wants more warnings sent, but he is on the losing end of a bureaucratic battle and can't get the message out. American sleuths have pierced Japan's most vital diplomatic code, and Washington believes it has a window on the enemy's soul - but it does not.

Please narrator don't attempt voice's
Reviewed: 06-13-23
Someone should have told the narrator that trying to do voice's is not his thing. The history is interesting but the bad attempt at voices is distracting.

Story
Nate wants more to life than moving from town to town, hustling chess with his con-man grandfather or wagering pick-up games online. A new immersive game opens up the chance to bring in a steady paycheck. Maybe enough to convince his grandfather to stay straight. Little does he know how his actions will change his life. A GameLit coming of age story.

Weak story and worse voice over artist performance
Reviewed: 01-22-15
If you could sum up The Drowning Spool in three words, what would they be?
Okay but lazy.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
She has no feel for acting the written word out audibly. Her presentation was uninspiring.
Any additional comments?
Story was lack luster and fairly obvious about 3/4 of the way through and to add the poor narration not the series or the authors best book.
