General Michael T. Flynn is blunt and urgent. This book aims to inform the American people of the grave danger we face in the war on terror—and will continue to face—until our government takes decisive action against the terrorists that want nothing more than to destroy us and our way of life.

concise truth about US & ISIS
Reviewed: 08-30-16
Refreshing to hear the well thought, analytical and humane discussion from one who has looked into the eyes of the radical Islamists and realizes the world cannot work with them. He clearly states Islam is a religion of peace. He explains these radical Islamist believe they are working for their vision of Islam and they very smart and organized beyond what our present leaders claim them go be. Sadly our present leaders are afraid to say the words radical Islam. Yet the coalition that is joined against us includes members such as ISIS, Iran and Russia (who hate each other) because they see us as the enemy. This is no different than the battles of city states during the reformation...because sadly man's history is what it is. The failure of our leaders not to understand the enemy is minor compared to our leaders failure to respect our friends. The past 8 years proven that our leader got what he wanted when he said he does not want America to lead or win, but the voters got what they deserved when they voted for him. Flynn suggests we have a new chance and a future.

Olson turns her razor sharp vision on the Clintons' shocking excesses in their final days of office: the outrageous pardons to political cronies and friends; the looting of the White House; the executive orders that were sheer abuses of presidential power; the presidential library that is becoming a massive boondoggle of vanity more appropriate for a Third World dictator; and much more.

Who was your favorite character and why?
The White House employee who told Hillary that it is the PEOPLE's furniture and china...not yours to take.
Which scene was your favorite?
The New Square multimillion dollar fraudulent grants meeting with Bill & Hillary (while running for the Senate) and the pardons that where "not" quid pro quo as Hillary did "not" participate (seems she did "not" inhale either!)
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book was finished as Barbara Olson died in a 911 attack...and the Clintons are still the same...nothing changes. Just poor public workers from Hope Arkansas helping themselves to America.

Caligula, the Fall of Rome and grifters in DC
Reviewed: 06-28-16
Would you listen to Crisis of Character again? Why?
Everybody should as it is like David McCullough's John Adams book of a prior POWER COUPLE in Washington, risking their lives to do good for America. However, Crisis of Character is about two grifters from Arkansas who lie and cheat and destroy other people for the good of Billary. How many time does America have to hear this story before they realize reality.
Which scene was your favorite?
Try to figure out how to dispose of the lip stick and semen stained linens to protect The President...and exactly whose lip stick was it now! ALSO The fear of Hillary's own staff in trying to speak to Hillary the volcanic, bipolar, unstable lying, manipulative "Jekyll and Hyde" failing politician and human.
If you could give Crisis of Character a new subtitle, what would it be?
AMERICA YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE...if you do not listen.
Any additional comments?
Barbara Olson's The Final Days, sadly parallels a similar story concerning this failed couple. Sadly Barbara died in the 911 plane crash into the Pentagon, but hopefully, maybe now, we will finally read and listen too her warning about this "poor couple" from Arkansas (Hope??!!) who are so much the opposite of John and Abigail Adams.

Too Bad Man Evolved
Reviewed: 11-26-15
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
If is were not for man, the world would be perfect. I read this book as a consumer's guide to global warming and acidification of the oceans. I wanted it to be a sober and scientific discussion. There is no place for smart ass political jabs in this style of communication, but of course the progressive camp cannot just report, they have to play SNL Bush jokes. There was a comment about she thought the Bush administration would never end. In a book trying to bring people together, this childish and smug comment only spoils the communication.
Did The Sixth Extinction inspire you to do anything?
NO
Any additional comments?
We parent the mercy of solar flares, collisions with huge asteroids, the forces of Jupiter warping our orbit, and volcanic explosions. Man is not my biggest concern.

Many people have wondered why I've been speaking out on controversial issues for the last few years. They say I've never held political office. I'm not a constitutional scholar. I'm not even a lawyer. All I can say to that is "guilty as charged." It's true that I've never voted for a budget America could not afford. I've never raised anyone's taxes. And I've never promised a lobbyist anything in exchange for a donation. Luckily none of that really matters.

Story
We know it simply as "the pill", yet its genesis was anything but simple. Jonathan Eig's masterful narrative revolves around four principal characters: the fiery feminist Margaret Sanger, who was a champion of birth control in her campaign for the rights of women but neglected her own children in pursuit of free love; the beautiful Katharine McCormick, who owed her fortune to her wealthy husband, the son of the founder of International Harvester and a schizophrenic.

Fascinating review of the developemnt of THE PILL
Reviewed: 08-29-15
If you could sum up The Birth of the Pill in three words, what would they be?
It changed us.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Katharine McCormick as she was unknown to me before reading this book. The first woman to graduate with a science degree from MIT. She truly funded the research that change the world.
Any additional comments?
Margaret Sanger was the the spark that helped develop the pill. Frankly, this book has sanitized, white washed and made politically correct her true history. She did not just have "friends" in the eugenics movement, she was very much a part of negative eugenics that approached racial extermination. Explore the facts of her history. The truth is what it is. None of the 3 other main characters had this horrible flaw and I respect them and their work. I would have rated this overall higher had author not reconstructed history.
