Story
I Don’t Want to Die Poor is an unforgettable and relatable examination about what it’s like leading a life that often feels out of your control. But in Michael’s voice that’s “as joyful as he is shrewd” (BuzzFeed), these razor-sharp essays will still manage to make you laugh and remind you that you’re not alone in this often intimidating journey.

It’s a decent read

I was intrigued by the title of the book especially because I’m going through the same thing as a college student scared about how life is going to be stressful repaying the student loans. I liked his story in the beginning about his anxiety and stressful moment and how he overcome that pressure. I feel during the middle and end it was getting explicit with a lot of sexual contention which was unnecessary in my opinion

Story
Jay-Z: Made in America is the fruit of Michael Eric Dyson’s decade of teaching the work of one of the greatest poets this nation has produced, as gifted a wordsmith as Walt Whitman, Robert Frost and Rita Dove. But as a rapper, he’s sometimes not given the credit he deserves for just how great an artist he’s been for so long.

Story
Being “shook” is more than a rap lyric for Charlamagne; it’s his mission to overcome. While it may seem like he is ahead of the game and should have nothing to worry about, he is still plagued by anxieties - fear of being weak; fear of being a bad dad; fear of being a worse husband; and, ultimately, fear of failure. Shook One chronicles his journey to beat back those fears and empowers you to no longer be held back from your potential.

t illustration on the poor sad thoughts and rich dads thoughts. It came clear that your mind is your biggest enemy of keeping you where you want to be in life! The reader was ok but needs to be more enthusiastic, there was times I fell asleep
