Important but very painful to listen to

If you know anyone who is/was in a similar situation, this is extremely worth while to listen to, but gut wrenching. This is not something to listen to for pleasure, or knowledge, but for understanding.

Should be mandatory reading for college freshmen

Re-listened to it after ~two years, got so much more out of it. I've fought against the "specialize early and master it" crowd since I was in college, and 15 years later I am so happy I floated around and explored different fields instead. I wish this book was available back then, but better late than never. Even (especially?) if you're an adult who specialized in something early, this is worth a listen.

Following this advice will either have a major positive impact on your life. If you already live the way the book advises, it's still a good reminder to keep doing so.

This book is meant more for paperback than audio, something to reference like a dictionary than listen to cover to cover. The "pop" sound they use to represent bullet points is genuinely anxiety inducing until you get use to it (I had to force myself to listen to the book past the 3rd pop - PLEASE NEVER DO THAT AGAIN AUDIOBOOK PEOPLE!) It's not great to listen to on long walks, but it's worth having a paper copy without a doubt. Very good information and worth a listen if nothing else.

I didn't think a book on finance would be so funny

This book was insanely informative, and I downright funny at times (the author is snarky af). This should be mandatory reading for everyone, especially those who are younger, including those who come from less affluent backgrounds. I'd be much wealthier right now if I had this information 15 years ago.

I summarized the entire book above. You're welcome.

I love listening to books that I can grow from in some way, and take something from. This book caught my attention, for some unexplained reason. Months after wasting time on it, I'm stull annoyed that I spent a credit on it. What I put in the title for this review is exactly what I told me friend when she asked how it was.

The nerve of Audible to alert me to the author creating a new book.
