Story
Chosen from birth to usher in a new era, Poppy’s life has never been her own. The life of the Maiden is solitary. Never to be touched. Never to be looked upon. Never to be spoken to. Never to experience pleasure. Waiting for the day of her Ascension, she would rather be with the guards, fighting back the evil that took her family, than preparing to be found worthy by the gods. But the choice has never been hers.

Great book with a fitting narrator

This book was a great listen, things from romance to fighting to politics to outstanding world building. The narrator was a perfect match as well.

Story
The New York Times best-selling author heralds the future of business in Free. In his revolutionary best seller, The Long Tail, Chris Anderson demonstrated how the online marketplace creates niche markets, allowing products and consumers to connect in a way that has never been possible before. Now, in Free, he makes the compelling case that, in many instances, businesses can profit more from giving things away than they can by charging for them.

Good book but..
Reviewed: 03-28-21
This was a very informative book but it was quite boring to be honest. I would say this would make a very good second book or soemthing used as time filler for small time gaps but as a main book it is very boring for the most part. That being said there were a lot of interesting things too.

Story
There's no other book like this. Longtime running writer Scott Douglas marshals expert advice (including his own, cultivated from more than 100,000 miles of personal experience), and a growing body of scientific research to show how running can make us happier. How? Everyone knows that running builds stronger muscles and a healthier heart; science now shows it also helps develop a healthier brain. For those struggling with depression and anxiety, a consistent running routine can enhance the mental-health benefits of talk therapy, antidepressants, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Great listen for all runners or people with depression and anxiety!!

This was a great listen, personally I do not find I suffer terrible with depression but I have always been a runner. This story helped me understand a lot of things about running in general and I have already recommend it to two of my running buddies.
The narrator had a very calm, intellectual voice that really matched the story.
