Story
Gray Lexly, son of a candlemaker, wants to escape his life of old-world technologies and study at the prestigious Astra Academy, a school for arcanists—those who can wield magic. But Gray has a major problem. Every night, as he sleeps, he's visited by monsters. When they injure Gray in his dreams, he wakes with the same wounds in real life . . . On the night Gray might finally die in his nightmares, he is saved by the kind and mysterious Professor Helmith, a powerful arcanist. She offers to protect Gray and invites him to attend Astra Academy.

Noted in a few other comments, some of the audio was unintelligible with the bass being over the top it was a great attempt at changing things up and marking when facing a superior foe or getting serious however could be toned down ever so slightly but the writing is great the narration is awesome and the development of all the characters makes this series fantastic and hard to turn off

Story
Heavy is the head who wears the crown. That goes double for the dragon king. Zach is wrapping up the end of the school year, trying to juggle his new independent study, where Sabrina and the dragons teach him magic while also being the king of dragons, a sitting member of the Philly Council, and a good mate to six. But the dragon king doesn’t sleep, not when Silverwing Mercenaries has a case from the council. Vampires have had some change in leadership in Philly, and trouble is brewing.

Solid series

Love this series although I still like the first book best as it focused more on the development of the MC rather than fan service, understandably its not overkill since the MC is a dragon and its a harem fantasy but a little more story and closed door scenes would be a nice break as his harem grows more as I could see later volumes becoming half fan service and less development while "growing" relationships with his mates.
But it's a great series so far. I finished all 5 books in 4 days
