A good first attempt for a creative writing class

this is a train wreck of a book. moat doesn't even need to be in this book. the characters don't have depth, the situations don't make any sense, and it takes forever to get to the real meat. Then it simply allspice apart. It could be the start of a decent series if there was more depth to the scenes. Also, there are so many unrealistic details that it's laughable. I'm surprised someone spent the time and money to make this into an audio book. I was given this for free in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it. So much information and I know the surface has just been scratched. Everyone who is desperate to figure out what the heck is going on needs to read this book. This isn't an American problem it's a global problem and we are all in it together whether we like it or not.

Beautiful raw honesty

While this is one man's honest retelling of his life, this is the life of too many kids of an whole generation of Americans. This happens all over the country, not just in the rust belt. While drugs & alcohol might not always be prevalent, the abuse and damage to the young child's mind have now brought up a whole other generation of people on antidepressants. There needs to be another movement of people who are recognized for growing up in abusive homes, surviving and hopefully even thriving. I too survived.

Eye opening & compelling

The evidence for the Leftist Extremism and their Marxist Ideology is without question. Before this book I thought there must he some rationale people in those that consider themselves Democrats. However now I see that their agenda for the last 60 years have been to declare war on the fundamentals of America. They want our land and our economic stability but they want to make the laws, morality & values by their standards. In any other country in the world that would be fine if the majority rules. However the minority is trying to destroy the majority and the very foundation on which this country was built. God has allowed their free will, but He will make sure they are judged by His standards.

As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.
6-9 These are the kind of people who smooth-talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every new religious fad that calls itself “truth.” They get exploited every time and never really learn.

Finally I understand!!!

I have read many books on the end times, but this one spells it out in plain English. if you want to know what God is doing in our world today, READ THIS BOOK. There's good solid Bible backed teaching that explains all the most current details of human civilization on planet Earth. Mr. Evans was a former pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo and I have been under many of his teachings. He has never steered us wrong and I believe things will be playing out just as he explains here. God loves humans and created them to love Him back. He's speaking to the whole world right now. Jesus is returning VERY SOON. Look up.

frighteningly realistic

Today more than ever in human history we are at a crossroads between the good and those who like freedom and all it's advantages and those who like power, control and its advantages. this book its more relevant in 2020 than ever before. My eyes have been opened and I'll never be the same. The Overton Window and The Eye of Moloch are a must read for EVERYONE ON THE PLANET WHO LIKES FREEDOM OF ANYKIND. These are not purely fiction they are faction based on REAL EVENTS THAT ARE STILL HAPPENING and I pray that more people will wake up and see the repeating of history before it is too late.

Stark reality of a future America is heading to

While this is fiction, the premise of each major change in society is already happening in America today. In fact this book was written several years ago and is more in line with today's reality than ever before. Yet, no matter how sad our future is becoming, there will always be the "bright spots" of those who love and live for Jesus Christ.
