The plot has been used before

I've been reading Sharpe since the beginning, having read or listen to everyone at least six times. it's always good to have an addition to the series, but this plot has already been used twice before, only the names and places changed.

One of the best!

This is one of the first audiobooks I ever listened to, and it spoiled me for life. Michael York is a brilliant performer and gives a wonderful depth to the story with his varied and eccentric accents.

Mucho information using a nonsensical timeline
Reviewed: 05-15-21
Lots of historical information performed by a talented narrator but it follows no logical timeline. the beginning of the Mexican cartels is quickly followed by the end which segways to the middle but then goes back to the beginning followed by the death of someone you know nothing about only to be told their story 3 hours later.
