Story
Ten years ago, the Harper family disappeared. Their deserted cottage was left with the water running, the television playing cartoons, the oven ready for baking. The doors were locked from the inside. Overnight, the sleepy village of Nighbrook became notorious as the scene of the unsolved mystery of the decade, an epicentre for ghoulish media speculation. For crime journalist Naomi, solving the case has turned into an obsession. So now, with Ivy Cottage finally listed for sale, it’s her chance to mount an investigation like no other.

Story
Here are the thrills, grandeur, and unabashed fun of the Greek myths, stylishly retold by Stephen Fry. The legendary writer, actor, and comedian breathes life into ancient tales, from Pandora's box to Prometheus's fire, and transforms the adventures of Zeus and the Olympians into emotionally resonant and deeply funny stories, without losing any of their original wonder. Learned notes from the author offer rich cultural context. This volume is a doorway into a captivating world.

The reader is clear and animated. The story line just did not captivate me. No into Greek mythology that’s all.

The story might be good but I can’t get past this guy trying to talk like a women. I would love to r this in multiple voices or by a women. Even when it is a male character he sounds like a women.

Loved this book!

I loved the storyline and characters in this book. They made me laugh, created a little suspense as to how it was going to turn out. Made me feel like a detective trying to put it all together to solve the mystery. At first I thought it was going to be boring once I heard it was about a tennis family and I am not a sports fan. I was wrong. It was more about family dynamics than sports. I listened everyday on my way to and from work and couldn’t wait to get back in my car to hear more.
