I like the character development and personalities of the main characters. They were complex, felt like real people, and weren’t perfect.
It is a nice change that there can be good, sweet stories with the door closed. Not all of us want it all spelled out.
Will read more of her stories.
I didn’t mind the narrator at all. I thought she did a good job. 🤷♀️

In this book, I don’t just want to talk about how we can survive this crisis, or how we can access the peace of God in tumultuous times. I want to talk about how God can redeem a crisis in our personal lives to take us deeper into maturity and intimacy with Christ.

Breath of fresh air...

Dr. Rob Reimer is unique in this day and age of ‘do it myself’ Christianity; the lifeless kind.
His reliance on the Holy Spirit, his honesty over his own journey and his willingness to go to the hard places to chase after God are nearly unmet in other authors. His voice is one that makes me want more of Jesus and I am not sure there is a higher praise I can give.
Listen and read everything he has and I would be shocked if you could not say the same. He has been a lifeline in a very dry season. He consistently points to Jesus. And that is all we ALL really need.
