Story
Lynn Monroe is finally living life on her terms. The niece she raised as her own has finished medical school and started an internship, and she’s healing from a painful divorce that was long overdue. But, when she runs into a ghost from her past, the stable life she’s worked so hard to build begins to crumble. When Dr. Maggie Randall - focused, driven, and in love with her best friend’s aunt - unexpectedly bumps into Lynn, it’s like no time has passed. She’s sure it’s a sign they’re meant to be.

I was unable to make it past chapter 3 of this book. Which I am very sad about since I like the overall thought process of the story line. Look, I can only imagine how hard it is to be a narrator and I know I would most likely be horrible at it but it is the reason I could not keep listening to this book. I hate saying that so sorry Lula Larkin and I mean no offense at all. I had no idea who was meant to be speaking. The characters to me sounded exactly alike. I have no idea if this improved or not as the book went on but I hope it did. Again very sorry and some of the greats that always hit the narration part out of the park us Abby Craden and Angela Dawe. there are some amazing British narrators as well. they give every character their own life. Just brilliant. Sorry wish I could have listened longer.

E.J. writes another stellar story line. Abby Craden does amazing work as a narrator, her many voices, dialects and accents are top notch. Abby is in a class all to her own and has something special. Abby knows acting and I would not be surprised if she attended some acting classes when she attended her university. The fact that she knows exactly what the writer was going for in every sentence is incredible. Abby, I would listen to any book you narrate.... wait, let me say that again. Abby, I would listen to ANY book you narrate as long as it is LGBTQ with a heavy emphasis on the "L"... lol.

Story
On paper, Jordan Cohen has it all. With numerous best sellers under her belt, a number of blockbuster movie adaptations to her credit, and a high-profile relationship with one of Hollywood's most prominent stars, what more could she possibly ask for? Maybe for Olivia Bradley, the only woman to ever break her heart, to exit her life as quickly as she'd reentered it. When an ongoing case of writer's block triggers a series of unforeseeable events, Jordan is forced to face the tragedies of her past and reevaluate the life she has been contentedly coasting through.

A feel Good story

Angela Dawe is always amazing and is on the top of my list with Abby Craden. If a lesbian novel comes out and one of these ladies are the narrator, I would listen to it. There are 2 British narrators who are also near the top of my list as well. As the title says this is a feel good story and very cute concept.

Story
Jacqueline Keys was ostracized from her small hometown of Pine Springs, Texas, when she was 17, sent away because she was gay. Fifteen years later - long after she'd hitch-hiked to Los Angeles, put herself through college, and had written her first best seller - Jacqueline is persuaded to go back to the tiny town of Pine Springs after her father's death. The quick trip she'd envisioned for the funeral turns into weeks as she learns her father's business is suddenly hers to manage. And she is also again face-to-face with the woman who, as a teen, had been Jackie's first crush.

It all started with a broken classroom heater.... Graduate school prepares you for many things - the rigor of academic life, how to pull consecutive all-nighters, and living off a meager stipend without having to be roommates with cockroaches. Elle Graft might have made it through six years of graduate school, but she's not convinced she'll survive her first position as an Assistant Professor. Because for all she learned, graduate school never prepared her for dealing with a student crush.

Good Story
Reviewed: 10-21-20
This book had potential as far as the story goes. I liked it from the start and really was interested in finding out what really happened that night. I am on chapter 11 and I am unable to continue. The narration just is not where it needs to be to suit the events in this book. I could never be narrator, I am certain it is very hard work, so my hats off to all if them but the tone and demeanor were just not right for this story. I would have for sure finished this book with a more seasoned narrator, such as Abby Craden and several others. I hope this does not deter anyone from getting this book.
