Story
UrbanMyth: It was lauded as an alternative to the performative, show-your-best-self platforms—an anonymous discussion board grouped by zip code. The residents of Manhattan’s exclusive Upper East Side disclosed it all, things they would never share with their friends or their spouses: secret bank accounts, steamy affairs, tidbits of juicy gossip. So when a “hacktivist” group breaks into the forum and exposes the real identity of each poster, the repercussions echo down Park Avenue with a force that none could have anticipated.

Delicious, Twisty, Absolutely Fantastic!

This was such a juicy, drama filled thriller, and I couldn't stop listening. Once you start, you'll want to clear your entire day. I definitely did not see how it was all going to come together. This was like Gossip Girl mixed with The Real Housewives. The scandals, mystery, and all the webs the characters weaved, made this one wild ride. It was fast paced and was told from multiple POVs, which I always love. I absolutely loved this book!

Story
Cassie Woodson is adrift. After suffering an epic tumble down the corporate ladder, Cassie finds the only way she can pay her bills is to take a thankless temp job reviewing correspondence for a large-scale fraud suit. The daily drudgery amplifies all that her life is lacking - love, friends, stability - and leaves her with too much time on her hands, which she spends fixating on the mistakes that brought her to this point. While sorting through a relentless deluge of emails, something catches her eye.

Loved it!

I listen to a lot of psychological thrillers, but too many of them are predictable or the characters are one-dimensional. This one was EXCELLENT! The protagonist is a stalker with a troubled past and psychological issues, yet she was surprisingly likable, and I genuinely felt emparthy for her. Her actions were wrong, but she wasn't menacing or evil and didn't mean any harm - she was just desperate to be loved. The plot was tightly-written with a lot of twists and turns, and the last 25 percent or so was a roller coaster ride that had me on the edge of my seat.
