Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Meh. Probably not. I got hooked onto the Kowalski family series largely bc of the original narrator's delivery, so it was jarring to have someone else's voice telling a continuation of the Kowalski story. I also got the Kindle version (thinking I should just read it so I could get thru the stories in order) but I think I've just gotten used to having these stories read to me by the original narrator. It was like I was missing the jokes and the witty nuances of the dialogue on my own.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Skipping to the next in this series that has the original narrator (Lauren Fortgang)

Would you listen to another book narrated by Renee Werbowski?

Probably a non-fiction. Performance of a fictional story with a variety of characters doesn't seem to be her thing (just based on this).... However, her reading was straightforward & basically good.

Was All He Ever Needed worth the listening time?

No. Even though I know better, I should never ignore other people's reviews on Audible!

Would you consider the audio edition of Unclaimed to be better than the print version?

Haven't read the print version.

What other book might you compare Unclaimed to and why?

Regency romance junkies give Courtney Milan high marks; for good reason! As with Unveiled, multi-layered story, fresh storytelling, nothing predictable. Nice balance of light humor and seductive moments.

What does Polly Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The fact that it is Rebecca De Leeuw narrating and NOT Polly Lee is likely why this was an enjoyable listen. De Leeuw knows how to read a historical romance with the right timing and intonation.
